Fitting!
Your clubs should be checked for:
a. Your hand size – do we all have the same size hand? Of course
not! The only thing that connects you to the club and over half of the
golfers I fit do not have the proper grip size.
b. Length of clubs – to fit their size
and shape. To many golfers try and fit themselves to the club and
it is the other way around. I fit the club to the golfer.
c.
Loft and Lie – of the iron clubs must fit the golfers swing path.
d. The Putter – We use it
for over 40% of our total score. I fit for length, loft, and lie
for your body.
e.
Shaft Flex and driver loft – to optimize the best launch angle and
spin rate. I use swing speed, time/tempo on your swing and use
video to capture your wrist cock release to find the best fitting shaft
for your swing. |
